Store Settings & Preferences
Customize your store settings and preferences to your needs.
To view and change your Store Settings go to Main Menu > Store Configuration > Store Settings
Checkout & Email Logo
To add or change your checkout & email logo, click select an image. This selection row will be at the very top of your settings page.
PNG format is highly recommended for email compatibility
This logo will appear at the top of your checkout page and will be linked back to your main site for easy navigation while eliminating distractions from the shopping process. It will also be displayed in the notification email, so make sure it is a quality graphics that best represents your company.
Here is an example of how it will appear on a live checkout page.
Checkout Theme
A checkout theme lets you quickly change the appearance of your checkout screen. Currently, there are options for a light theme, which will be the default, or a dark theme. This can be selected in the Checkout Theme dropdown select.
Emails
Next, there are two different email accounts.
- The first is the general Email Account. This is the email account from which store correspondence will be sent
- The next is the Notification Email. This is the email address to send purchase notifications to
Additional Pages and Continue Shopping
- If you have a Thank You Page built you can select that page here in the pulldown select menu.
- If you have an Empty Cart Page built you can select that page here in the pulldown select menu.
- The Continue Shopping URL is the location you would like to send customers to if they select to continue shopping in their cart or checkout.
List View Settings
- For the Product List View Layout view you have the choice between Standard Layout and Condenced Layout.
- For the Product Detail View Layout, you have the choice between Standard Layout and Enhanced Layout.
- For both the List and Detail view of your product, you can choose an aspect ratio. We have selected some common image ratios but if you don't see what you're looking for there is a custom aspect ratio option.
If you are selecting an aspect ratio, or using a custom aspect ratio make sure Crop Images is set to YES. This will mean all product and event images will be automatically cropped to the detail image aspect ratio.
Store Preferences
For all of the following preferences selecting YES will turn ON that feature and selecting NO will leave that feature OFF
- Disable Checkout? - If set to yes, customers will not be able to purchase anything from your shop
- Use the site font in checkout? - If set to 'yes', your default site font will be used in the checkout instead of Helvetica.
- List View Short Description? - If yes, the product/event short description text will appear on the category list view pages.
- List View Add To Cart Button? - If yes, customers will be able to add products to their cart from the list view. NOTE: This setting is not used if product variants are enabled.
- Require Customer Phone Number During Checkout? - Having the customer's phone number can help resolve issues with orders, but it can also make people less likely to purchase.
- Allow Gift Messages? - If set to yes, customers will be able to add a gift message to orders
- Allow Note to Seller? - If set to yes, customers will be able to add a note to the seller to orders
- Enable Member Pricing? - If enabled, an optional member price can be added to any product or event. Additionally, customers will be prompted for a member number during checkout.
- Extended Checkout? - Set to yes if you would like to ask any additional questions, beyond the standard checkout information, during checkout. These questions can be restricted to product or event categories.
- Display Share Button? - If yes, products and events will include a share button to allow website visitors to share links on their own social media accounts.
- Enable Per Product Shipping? - When enabled, you will be able to configure shipping costs per product instead of based on order total weight or price. This is not recommended and can lead to overcharging for shipping.
When you are finished updating your settings and preferences click Update Store Settings to save your changes!
