Adding Custom Fonts
To add a custom font, click Custom Fonts underneath Design in the main Menu.
Click on New Web Font in the top right corner of your screen.
Choose between a Google Font, Adobe Typekit, or a complete custom font that you have downloaded.
Google Font
Choose the font you want to use from the dropdown menu, select the weights you want to include, and then click Create Google Font.
Adobe Typekit
Go to fonts.adobe.com/fonts and select the font you'd like to use on your site. Do this by clicking "Add Family" on the font.
This font is now available to add to your Web Project. Click on the font you added to view more details and preview it further.
Click Add to Web Project.
A window will pop up, instructing you to "Add fonts to a Web Project." Click the arrow in the pulldown field and select an existing project (if you've already made one for your site), or create a new web project by clicking + "Create a new project" and typing in your new project name, then click "Create" in the bottom right-hand corner.
Select the font weights by clicking the box next to the weight. It will show a checkmark in a blue box if selected. Click Save in the bottom right corner of this window.
Connecting your Typekit to MadeDaily
Click the Manage Fonts dropdown and then select Web Projects.
Copy your project ID.
Go back to MadeDaily and if you have selected Adobe Typekit you should be on a screen that looks like this.
Paste your Typekit ID here as well as the Font Label and CSS Name. You can find the Font Label and CSS Name by clicking Edit Project.
The Font Label is the name of your font.
The CSS name is located after font-family:
Once you have pasted that infomation click, Create Adobe Typekit
Upload your own Custom Font
If you have selected the Custom Font option, first add the Font Name on this screen and choose a Fallback option if a browser has an issue loading your font.
If you don't have a woff2 version of your font, make sure the Legacy Font switch is turned on.
Once you have added in all of your information, click Create Custom Font.
Uploading your Font Files
Click Select or Upload Font Files in the top right corner of your screen.
Upload and select your woff, and woff2 files for your Custom Font.
You can now use this Custom Font anywhere on your MadeDaily Website!
